In 2006, Daniels donated enough land to construct 10 townhomes adjacent to the WAVE Lakeshore West community in south Etobicoke to Habitat for Humanity Toronto — the single largest land donation by a private company in Habitat Canada's history. These townhomes, along with WAVE, other condominium townhomes and affordable rental units are located on land that was formerly part of the Goodyear Tire Plant and is an excellent example of Brownfield development in the GTA. In 2007, Daniels commissioned and produced a Habitat tribute song called “Many Hands” as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Toronto.
